AOT Receives Thai Stop COVID (TSD) Certificate for Airport of Hygienic Public Transport
Hat Yai International Airport, Airports of Thailand Plc. (AOT), receives the certificate
“Thai Stop COVID (TSD)” for public transport workplace of airport type that provides sanitation measures for COVID-19 infection prevention and control from the Department of Health,
the Ministry of Public Health, which has been valid for 1 year between 9 June 2021 and
9 June 2022.
This certificate confirms that Hat Yai International Airport has laid out guidelines
and surveillance measures to control the spread of COVID-19 and strict compliance with
all measures for both disease prevention and environmental health. They also include body temperature check, face mask wearing, social distancing, surface cleaning, vehicle cleaning,
and good ventilation maintenance system by checking the air conditioning system to
be in efficient condition at all times.
Additionally, Hat Yai International Airport has guidelines for the confirmed cases
of COVID-19 patients along with additional measures such as COVID-19 control and prevention policy, establishment of COVID- 19 Emergency Operations Committee, disease control plan
to serve infectious employees, and rehearsal plans. Furthermore, TSD certificate will ensure passengers, employees, and airport users’ confidence amidst the outbreak.
