Route Asia Development Forum to be Postponed from 2021 to 2023 Due to the Spread of COVID-19

Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) announced the postponement
of the upcoming Route Asia Development Forum from originally scheduled to be held on 8-10 March 2020 in Chiang Mai Province to take place in 2023, due to COVID-19 pandemic and global travel restrictions.
As the host-partner with Informa Ltd. of the Routes Asia Development Forum 2020 (RAS2020), AOT has put into consideration on the global spreading situation of COVID-19 which caused a drastic drop in revenue of airlines. Therefore, AOT had decided to postpone The Route Asia Development Forum to 2023 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Aiming to provide business matching opportunities for companies and operators along with creating route network connectivity between airport operators as well as encouraging airlines to use AOT’s            6 main airports. AOT was officially accepted as the host for the Route Development Forum (RAS2020) on 12 March 2019 at Cebu, the Philippines.
