Can I take liquids on board?

Yes, if each container is 100 ml or less and carried in a clear zip-lock plastic bag.

Can I take lipstick and eyeliner on board?

All solid beauty products may be carried in your hand luggage. Gel liners must be kept in a clear re-sealable bag, in containers of no more than 100 ml.

Can I carry liquids bought at duty free on board or in my bag?

Yes, provided they are carried in the security tamper-evident bag from the shop, with no sign of opening.

I have to transit at another airport before reaching my destination. Can I take duty-free purchases through screening at the transit point?

Yes, provided they are carried in a security tamper-evident bag together with the receipt.

Can I take liquid medicine on board?

Yes, with a prescription or medical certificate, and you must be able to show that it is genuine medicine if requested by an officer.

Can I take infant milk on board?

Yes, in a quantity appropriate for the journey; you must be able to show that it is genuine milk if requested.

Airport safety

I am a government officer authorised to carry a weapon on board. What should I do?

Please inform the airline staff at check-in so the proper procedure can be followed.

Why can’t I take a toy gun on board?

Anything that looks like a gun or any weapon is not allowed on board, for security reasons.

Can I meet arriving relatives at the aircraft door?

The airport provides public areas for greeting passengers. Only authorised persons holding an airport security permit may enter security restricted areas.

I found a bag left behind in a restroom. What should I do?

Please do not move the item. Notify the nearest security officer or airport staff immediately.

How many zip-lock bags may each passenger carry?

One zip-lock plastic bag per passenger.

Can diabetic passengers bring injection equipment and medicine on board?

Yes — contact the staff at the checkpoint.

Will photographic film be damaged by the X-ray machine?

No. Film is safe to put through the X-ray machine.
